We begin with a social meeting at 7:00 pm. followed by a short business meeting, the featured program, and Show-and-Tell. The president for 2001-2002 is June Volstad. Durham-Orange Quilters Guild, Inc. PO Box 51492 Durham, NC 27717-1492 Meets the third Monday of every month at 7:30 pm. We have changed meeting locations. We now meet at Grace Church, 200 Sage Road, near Chapel Hill/Durham line. Our evening starts with an informal time at 7:00 pm, followed at 7:30 by our featured program, business meeting, and Show-and-Tell. Pine Tree Quilters Pinetree Quilter's Guild meets the second Thursday of the month, social time beginning at 11:30, the program begins at 12:15, September through May. They also hold workshops in June, July and August for the purpose of working on quilts for our charity projects. These summer workshops are optional, but are a lot of fun. It meets at Woodhaven Baptist Church, 4000 Kildaire Farm Road, Apex (This is located on Kildaire Farm Road about 1 mile south of Ten-Ten on theright-hand side of the street.) $10 a year to join- dues are paid in Sept. but you can join any time. Triangle Art Quilters Raleigh, NC Name: Triangle Art Quilters Purpose/focus: contemporary quilt designs and techniques, including: fabricscapes, watercolor and bargello, raw-edge weaving, hand-dyed and/or painted fabric, foundation piecing, stencils and/or stamps, and surface design and embellishment. We have demonstrations, show-n-tell (with in-depth critiques upon request), share business information, and have had our first group show.
